Sleep Studies at Warringal Private Hospital
Sleep Studies
Overnight, in-hospital sleep studies are available to support the assessment and diagnosis of sleep-related concerns. Studies are conducted in a dedicated sleep laboratory with private rooms, modern monitoring equipment, and a controlled environment to ensure accurate and reliable recordings.
A team of experienced sleep and respiratory physicians, sleep technicians, and nurses oversee the process. All study data is manually analysed by senior sleep scientists and reviewed by an accredited Sleep Physician, who will discuss the results and next steps with the patient.
Accessing a Sleep Study
A referral is required to book an overnight sleep study. Patients and GPs can access the service through the following pathways:
Referral Pathways
-
Sleep Physician Referral
Patients may be referred to an accredited Sleep Physician for consultation. Following review, the specialist may request an overnight sleep study.
-
GP Direct Admission Pathway
GPs can refer eligible patients directly for a sleep study without a pre-study specialist appointment.
To use this pathway, GPs complete the Direct Referral Form and email it to the Sleep Centre. A Sleep Physician will review eligibility before the study is booked.
